Hi i reverted your edit because it broke something. Please look down at the book images. Hope you can correct it. Also i purposely wrote and prefer Victor's words ad verbatim because of preserving the multi-culture centrism in our project and community. This is not an English centric project. Hope you can see my POV. But if you have a better reason, then it is ok, i don't mind contrarian opinion all the time ;) - Redhuan D. Oon 23:34, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

I understand it's a very multicultural project, but I believe we should all have as close to perfect localizations of the wiki. The reason for this is that most corporate executives cannot appreciate the community nature of Open Source software, despite being heavy users of it (due to the obvious advantages). It may be a cultural difference between more socialist countries and North America, as I usually do not advertise the "free as in speech and free as in beer"; it's not appreciated by non-tech people here—as the cost of implementation and support is a tiny fraction of competitor's products, there's already "red flags" being raised in the decision-maker's heads as to the reliability of such software. Frankly, loading up the home page of the proposed software and getting bludgeoned with pidgin English will solidify their belief that this is not professional software

Cleaning up the English also assists with clearer communication between the site's users. If you visit the website of multinational corporations, they take great pains to ensure that the message remains clear in all the languages they support.

I certainly believe that the English as a second language contributors are extremely valuable and we must acknowledge their tremendous contribution. Nromyn 23:57, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Sir, this is not a business site, or ADempiere is not a business brand nor need be. It is . hmm please google it up. If you want to have a good business image, this is not the place. I can suggest some others if you email me. Look at www.adaxa.com for example. Not a word on ADempiere there. So where is the 'red flag' to raise? :) - Redhuan D. Oon 15:22, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

Are your serious? Adempiere is NOT business software? That's the first I've heard of it. This attitude does explain why the contributions here are incomplete and barely legible. Nromyn 15:53, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

Actually, Adaxa does reference this website from their "Explore" page: http://www.adaxa.com/page/explore-adaxa%E2%80%99s-complete-enterprise-offering

Again, they have a slick website; it looks great, but if their client finds out that the ERP system that they're thinking of implementing can't maintain a professional website, they will walk away. Nromyn 19:37, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

Although I disagree with Red1 regarding ADempiere not being a business related brand (this contrary view is ok as RED1 explains), I agree with Red1 that we can't and should not edit a literal phrase from one of our contributors. The quoted phrase should stay as it is. Rvergara
Thank you, Ramiro for your comment of support, but allow me to clarify about the business relationship. There are already established literature on this such as http://www.catb.org/~esr/writings/magic-cauldron/magic-cauldron-11.html and also the famous CatB by Eric Raymond about the separate tiers of concern between contributors to the project and users of the project. Users who do not really contribute (but caused damage by editing our resource to look more broken than fixed) are even more advised to make a choice of either following the path or just choose another project. I believe Openbravo, Compiere or even MS Navision is more commercial looking to Nromyn's liking. I am not stopping anyone's freedom. But please do not make a mess of any contributor's work here. Or criticise for been released early and incompletely. Nromyn has demonstrated that he really does not understand FOSS work properly. Sorry to sound pissed off caused i am pissed off for such disrespect. - Redhuan D. Oon 07:49, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
