Proposal
ADempiere claims to address the needs of the retail industry. From my past experience I feel, there is a Quick Order Entry window missing to address the fast, repeatable and with the requirement in mind: All informations at your fingertip:
- last order with the business partner: revenue and margin
- last revenue with the BP and the selected product
- limit and actual, last pricing infos
- stock available and at hand
- adding easily and fast additional order lines to the existing order
- image of the product
Vision/finally: popping up with the phone number coming in.
Therefor I created on Sourceforge this proposal: https://sourceforge.net/support/tracker.php?aid=2671546 But I got the impression, no one took notice.
We have in the meantime a working prototype within the webui, based on the existing classes from the webui. Still missing: revenue, margin, last price
Not yet tested in real life!

You can run a testdrive. Pls. login to the tenant/client GardenAdmin as usual.
Project Tasks
- Redesign of the existing window layout, buttons to small
- columns take to much white space
- right tabs are hidden
- specs for missing features, like selection of the warehouse, document type or order type
- porting to the SWING client, as of now webui only
- specs for addt. features, like usage scenario in the warehouse
