ADempiere roadmap
There is a debate on the proposed ADempiere roadmap which is proposed in Road Map Technician & Functionality . The debate is concerned whether the proposed roadmap is over-ambitious and has little in common with the current architecture, and proposes another, much more viable solution without much technical risks. On the other hand, the viable solution lacks the vision of the roadmap proposed by Victor Perez. Volunteers and developers are welcome.
Contributions comming in
On the other hand, everybody with a brilliant idea can download the code and develop something new. One proposal is to make ADempiere able to work with open source GIS systems, thus enabling spatial information for BI in ADempiere. This is the charisma of open source software development. It fosters innovation.
