U are just swell man! Thanks for the MySpace box! I like it! Just that i got no time to learn so much :( Cos i prefer reading, i.e. the WeThink book, it is so wonderful... got many terminologies to add to my arsenal now... Allah has blessed U!
I am wondering if it is cooler to have shorter text in boxes i.e. instead of "This user real name is", just leave that out and have the full name there, or "this user is a Council member", to just "Council Member".

- Yes why not ! I have just used the way its done in WP in fact. I propose to keep-it taht way for now and maybe talk about in the next version, ok ?.--Khalid HASSANI 11:53, 21 November 2006 (EST)
GPL / Apache compatibility
Hi Khalid, I reversed the change you made about GPL/Apache incompatibility here: http://www.adempiere.com/wiki/index.php/Road_Map_Technician_%26_Functionality and opened the discussion page.
Please let me know if you consider this rude or this must be managed in other way (I'm newbie in wikipedia issues and we can learn a lot here from you as an old wikipedian).
I think is better to start the discussion on that page because I think that Apache has stated the position here: http://www.apache.org/licenses/GPL-compatibility.html
Anyway, the discussion is open, please let us know if you think there are better reasons and/or sites pointing to the incompatibility.

- No I don't consider it rude :) In fact I didn't mean that there were any incompatibilities, but quite the contrary in fact sorry if this was not very clear in my modification; nevertheless this needs to be checked more closely before beginning any serious development. On another note, I think that a good practice when you do such reverts is to add a small note in the commentary to explain why you did them, I think we need to institute this good habit from the beginning, this will help to track them easily and avoid non necessary flame wars. Changes to my profile
Hi, Khalid, thank you very much for your changes - I was trying to make them myself yesterday and was prepared to do them today! You saved me quite some time :-). Feel free to mail me anytime. Steven 11:16, November 20, 2006 (EST+2)
Can someone (on the council maybe) create an entry on [freshmeat.net] for ADempiere similar to http://freshmeat.net/projects/compiere/. I will look at creating userboxes for myself. Thank you Sempre 16:07, 22 November 2006 (EST)
Table interwiki does exists and is populated also, I'm still reading the information on the meta to see of something must be changed in localsettings. You said that this was enabled by default, so with which version of mediawiki? ADempierewiki currently uses version 1.6.8. --Goanookie 09:27, 23 November 2006 (EST)

When User Login
How do you make the user see a special highlighted top bar to inform of a new message to the user? - Red1 04:25, 26 November 2006 (EST)
- I don't really understand you question Redhuan, this message is automatically generated for that user when you add something to his discussion page. That said there is a real problem in Mediawiki, if you partipate in a talk page of an other user, you have no mean to know if new message message has been posted there, you need to visit that page; another possibility is to add it to watchlist, this problem really bugs me too, I don't know if there is a simple solution to it--Khalid HASSANI 18:29, 26 November 2006 (EST)
