(01:36:26) nwessel: we should work towards first LTS release
(01:36:45) nwessel: at 14th of June
(01:36:55) CarlosRuiz: yep - 39 days to go
(01:37:39) nwessel: we said we release a version together with an inventory
(01:37:53) nwessel: to show what is going to be supported in the future
(01:38:00) nwessel: right?
(01:38:06) CarlosRuiz: yep
(01:38:16) CarlosRuiz: well, not exactly
(01:38:32) CarlosRuiz: the idea of the inventory is to mention the status
(01:38:48) CarlosRuiz: per functionality - independent if it will be supported or not
(01:38:56) nwessel: yes, right. to indicate that a feature has the potential to be dropped in next release
(01:39:03) nwessel: I mean that is one case
(01:39:18) nwessel: because we can not give a tag to the complete release
(01:39:41) nwessel: what I am aiming at is that we need the list to release
(01:39:43) nwessel: right?
(01:40:14) nwessel: I have not taking part in a release yet but I can imagine that the list is probably more work than the release itself
(01:40:43) red1 [~red1@218.111.80.194] entered the channel.
(01:40:46) CarlosRuiz: it's the most desirable condition
(01:40:52) CarlosRuiz: but not strictly necessary
(01:40:55) nwessel: ok
(01:41:07) nwessel: so you could think of a LTS release without list
(01:41:48) CarlosRuiz: yes, not the best, but similar to the releases 351 ... 354
(01:42:05) nwessel: question is, would it still be a LTS?
(01:42:28) CarlosRuiz: it can
(01:42:41) CarlosRuiz: the definition of LTS is the support
(01:43:02) CarlosRuiz: the intention from us to solve bugs for that specific version
(01:44:29) nwessel: I thought we wuld decrease scope of features that we support with list
(01:45:27) CarlosRuiz: yes - that can be another usage for the list - focus
