Basically their platform sets up a standard for translating data between applications / tables / formats.
Once someone has created a "jitterpak" for an appicaiton, anyone can then use that pak to help them integrate their data with another application.
Seems like a great way to overcome some of the hurdles of starting an Adempiere implementation. For instance once jitterpaks for both Quickbooks and Adempiere are defined an organization could dynamically sync their data between the two without any export / import trouble. Adempiere use could be phased into the organization without entering data into both systems. Additionally advanced functionality such as online banking could still be used in Quickbooks and this account data would be automatically updated in Adempiere.
